The Role of Autophagy in Infectious Diseases and Cancer

We have the pleasure to invite you to register for the workshop “The role of autophagy in infectious diseases and cancer” that will be held in Rome from June 18^th to June 20^th at the National Institute for Infectious Diseases “Lazzaro Spallanzani”. This meeting will focus on advances in understanding the molecular mechanisms and regulation of autophagy and its role in infectious diseases and cancer. The workshop is aimed to exchange ideas among the major experts of this rapidly developing field “thinking out of the borders”. The scientific program will start with a plenary session on Thursday evening and consists of five oral sessions covering a wide range of autophagy-related topics. Exciting unpublished results will be presented in an open atmosphere showing how quickly autophagy research is progressing. The registration is limited to 40 participants and includes coffee breaks, get together party and Friday’s lunch.
